ANOTHER DISTRICT CHAMP!

Hall County 8U Softball All-Stars claim District 6 title!

The Hall County 8U Softball All-Stars claimed the Dizzy Dean District 6 championship Monday night, defeating Barrow County, 20-9, in the title game in Dawsonville.

Hall County went 4-0 in the tournament, opening with a 14-1 win over Commerce, followed by a 20-13 victory over Barrow County and a 12-9 win over Dawson County.

Team members include Abby Carmichael, Victoria Chester, Aliyah Duncan, Carly Greene,  Kynsleigh Hewell, McKenzie HooperKyndall Lipscomb, Savannah Petty, Julia Pils, Alyssa Quick, Katie Roberts, Genesis Satterfield and Anna Sinquefield. The team is coached by Zach Petty. 

The team will represent Hall County in the North Georgia state tournament in Bartow County beginning June 24.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 7U HALL COUNTY ALL-STAR TEAM. DISTRICT CHAMPIONS!!!

Hall County 7U All-Stars win District 6 Championship!

Congratulations to the Hall County 7U All-Stars, who claimed the District 6 Championship on Saturday in Winder.

They went 3-0 in the tournament behind a dominating offense, defeating Barrow County 23-1, Dawson County 15-7 and Dawson County again, 21-18, in the championship game.

Team members include Cole Cable, Jake Beard, Dawson Gray, Jakoby Reed, Dominic Camacho, Colton Steeele, Kasyn Haynes, Nolan Davis, Riley Castaneda, Carter Edmondson and Ryan Woodward. The head coach is Kevin Cable. Assistant coaches are Adam Reed, Mike Beard and Justin Castaneda.

The boys will represent Hall County in the North Georgia state tournament at Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe beginning June 24. 


Welcome to Hall County Parks & Leisure Athletics Division!

It is the goal of the HCPL Athletics to provide a league that allows the youth of our county to have fun and learn life skills through organized athletic activities.  This is aimed at ensuring an equal and fun atmosphere that offers a positive learning experience for all that are involved.  It is important that the fundamentals of the game are taught in a way that allows for participants to learn and develop in a positive setting.

WEEKS 1 & 2: BEGINNER’S BASKETBALL INCLUSION CAMP

Week 1 Mon 6/13- Fri 6/17, week 2 Mon 6/20-Fri 6/24 9:00 am - 12:00 pm daily. Cost: $20.00 per camper per session.  Campers are asked to bring a water bottle.  Check in 8:15am, orientation 8:30am on first Mondays of each Camp Week.  Parents are invited to come cheer for campers at our end-of-the-week skills show off/ game on last Fridays 11:00 am – 12:30 pm.

 

 
 
 
WEEK 3:  BOUNCE OUT THE STIGMA event 
 
Mon 6/27- Fri 7/1 9:00 am – 2:00 pm Cost $45.00 includes two snacks, a t-shirt, a souvenir basketball, and a skills medal to be given at the end of the week.  Campers are asked to bring a brown bag lunch.

Fall Baseball and Softball Registration is now open!! Registration is $80.00 and includes the jersey and hat. The season will be 8 games long with practices starting the week of 8/22 and games beginning the week of 9/12.
