Background Screening & Check Procedures

Hall County Parks & Leisure Services, in conjunction with the National Recreation & Park Association (NRPA), is proud to announce our new Background Screening & Check Procedures through a newly established program "Operation TLC2 - Making Communities Safe."

All coaches, team moms, and volunteers that are in direct contact with the child participants must go through this program. The cost is $22.50 per volunteer and is valid for one year from date of approval. All volunteers will be issued a photo identification badge, which must be worn as part of their uniform during team functions. Photo session dates will be announced prior to the start of each sports season. If your badge is not valid through the sport in which you are coaching you must attend one of the dates prior to the sport season you will be coaching.

Example: If your badge expires on March 12th, 2009, and the photo session dates for Baseball/Softball 2009 is February 17th, 19th, & 21st, you must attend one of these dates to renew your badge for that sport season, even though your badge may still be current it will expire before the end of the sport season.
